Mobile connectivity has been embraced by schools as a way to improve learning. Bring Your Own Device has been adopted by schools in some countries. In the UK, both teachers and students are using home-bought devices to improve learning, engage with their peers, and develop technology skills.

What is the best way to get in touch with technology and learning? BYOD works but it is still not clear how to implement a state-funded programme that doesn’t discriminate against disadvantaged families and students. However, the savings for local authorities are enormous.
