The kimono nowadays has become not only a traditional but basically cool dress. It is, in fact, a fabric that, with its typical textures and designs, can be worn on most items of clothing both during the day and in the evening and even by the sea. In this regard, here is a guide with some tips on how to wear kimonos in summer correctly and, above all, to be cool.

ToggleThe first way to wear a kimono and look cool is to choose a model that is longer than usual in order to tie it at the waist, leaving it slightly open, as described below. First of all, the right side must cover half of the belly, while the left side must end on the equivalent side. The belt with which the kimono is equipped then serves to keep it in the aforementioned positions. That said, the clothes to wear and make visible with this type of kimono lacing are, for example, a black t-shirt and light jeans. Even black shoes with a rather high heel and a bag of the same shade serve to make them look decidedly cool.
Another trendy look wearing a kimono is to choose one with a white background accompanied by medium-sized floral prints. To make the look cool with this traditional Japanese dress, it should be emphasized that once worn. It must cover practically the whole body except for the neck area, where you can add a colored and silk scarf too. In this case, trousers must just come out from the lower part and specifically at the height of the ankles. On one of the latter, the ideal is to add a silver anklet and then wear leather-colored sandals with a low heel, also combining a bag of the same shade.
Wearing a kimono even at the beach is certainly an excellent idea to create a cool look even in this context. In this case, you just need to be a little daring and opt for a categorically white one-piece swimsuit, partially covering it with a long pink kimono with showy vertical stripes alternating between thick and thin ones. Flip flops are also good as shoes, even those with floral decorations in the center. As for the bag, on the other hand, it must categorically be made of rather large straw, while a scarf that ties long hair is used to optimize the look, making it cool even on a beach.
